Neil O’Brien was elected as Member of Parliament for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston in June 2017.
Having previously been Special Adviser to Prime Minister Theresa May on the Economy and Industrial Strategy, between November 2012 and July 2016 Neil was appointed as Special Adviser to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne working on the Northern Powerhouse among other projects. He is a former director of the think tanks Open Europe and Policy Exchange.
