The Biz Club Business Award 2013, now in it’s 5th year, was kindly sponsored by Rutland Telecom Limited. It recognises a local business or an individual within a 25 mile radius of Uppingham, who have made important economic contributions to our community.
The winner for 2013 was Brad Giles, a very young entrepreneur, who has started his own landscaping business. His prize is an original piece of art commissioned from a local artist.
We welcomed Emma McClarkin MEP to make the presentation and let us know what she has been up to both here and in Europe, the lunch was held on 15th November 2013 at Normanton Park Hotel on the shores of Rutland Water.
