Nigel has been actively involved in the voluntary and community sector since 1994, with extensive experience in fundraising and leadership roles. He co-founded Children Today Charitable Trust and has served as its Chair since 1998. He has also worked with the Royal National Institute of Blind People, helping secure over £8 million in funding, and led fundraising and communications efforts at Self Unlimited. Before his career in the charity sector, Nigel served in the Royal Air Force and worked in various roles, including as a lifeboat engineer. He is also a Chair of Governors at a junior school and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
